Protective proteins remove carcinogens from the body to prevent cancer. To prevent protective protein from being removed doctors advise regular eating of cruciferous vegetables a prostate cancer diet. Cruciferous vegetable include, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts and bok choy.
These vegetables contain a compound called ‘sulforaphane’ that strengthens the protective protein which becomes more efficient in managing carcinogens and delay cancerous growth.
Consume at least five servings of prostate cancer diet a week in order to get maximum benefit from cruciferous vegetables. Not only does consuming these vegetables lower the risk of cancer but helps leading a healthy life.
